Keep both stacks in this folder locked in the Finder╒s ╥Get Info╙ box to prevent them from being infected. It would also be a good idea to keep your Home stack locked from the Finder whenever possible to lessen the possibility of a virus infecting and/or destroying it.
If you are using HyperGatekeeper for the first time, use the installer stack to install the Verifier module. The Blocker module is recommended but not required; for some stacks it will cause more trouble than its protection is worth. Please be aware that HGK is a tool for detecting possible viral activity. It does not attempt to identify or kill viruses. If you wish to remove viruses, you must do so yourself with the script editor.
If you have previously installed version 1.2.5 of HGK, use the updater stack to update to 1.2.7 without having to answer modification dialogs on all your stacks again. Note that the updater will not work if you have modified your copy of HGK.
